I am a therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through life transitions, identity challenges, trauma, relationships, work-related distress, and the challenges that life and the world around us can bring. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social and Work Psychology from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil, and completed doctoral studies in Political Science at UCLA, where I also trained in evidence-based mindfulness at UCLA Health's Mindfulness Education Center. My approach integrates psychosocial awareness — understanding that personal suffering is rarely separate from the social, cultural, and structural forces that shape it — with mindfulness and self-compassion practices, and a relational, non-prescriptive presence. I work without rushing toward solutions, offering sustained, committed companionship session after session. I have experience working with people navigating significant cultural transitions — whether living away from their home country or moving between different cultural contexts. I am particularly attentive to how shame, identity, and belonging show up in people's lives, and how these experiences can be gently, rigorously explored.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on psychosocial and humanistic frameworks that understand personal suffering in relation to social, cultural, and structural contexts. I do not work from a single theoretical school — instead, I bring together what is most useful for each person and moment. Central to my work are mindfulness and self-compassion practices, informed by evidence-based training at UCLA Health's Mindfulness Education Center. I pay close attention to how the body holds what the mind has not yet named — shame, unprocessed grief, relational patterns that predate language. I work relationally and without prescription — trusting the client's own capacity to find their way, while offering a steady, engaged presence. Sessions are not rushed toward resolution. Change tends to emerge gradually, through sustained attention and honest exploration.

InnerHub is an online therapy platform that connects Australians with experienced therapists for affordable, secure video sessions. Book in minutes, pay only when you need a session, and avoid the long waitlists and ongoing subscriptions that often make therapy harder to access.
Our mission is to make starting therapy as simple as deciding you want to talk to someone. From booking to your first session, we remove unnecessary friction so getting support feels easy, not overwhelming.
Our therapists are experienced overseas professionals who hold university qualifications from their home countries. All hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Counselling, with some also holding a Master's degree. Most also bring at least three years of practical experience supporting people through life’s challenges.
Before joining InnerHub, each therapist is interviewed and must provide evidence of their identity, qualifications, professional experience and credentials, which we check with the relevant institution or professional body where applicable.
InnerHub therapists are not registered with AHPRA in Australia and are not presented as Australian-registered psychologists. You can review each therapist's qualifications, experience and country on their profile.
InnerHub's online, international model allows us to connect Australians with experienced overseas therapists at a more accessible price.
The lower cost reflects differences in operating costs around the world — not a lack of education or experience. There are no subscriptions or long-term commitments: each session costs $59.90 AUD, and you book only when you choose to.
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your session starts, for a full refund. Cancelling less than 24 hours before, or not attending, incurs a cancellation fee.
If your professional has an issue and is not able to attend, you're entitled to a full refund or to rebook an equivalent session at no extra cost. Read the full cancellation policy
