3 reasons to use InnerHub
Price matters
Private therapy in the UK often costs £50 or more a session. At about £29, it is easier to keep going for as long as it helps, or to try therapy for the first time.
The waiting list is too long
If you would rather not wait for an NHS referral to come through, you can choose a therapist and book a time yourself. No GP referral needed.
An international team
Our therapists come from many countries and cultures, and bring that perspective to every session. If you have made a life in the UK from somewhere else, that can make it easier to feel understood.

Frequently asked questions.
What is InnerHub?
InnerHub is an Australian online therapy company. We connect people with experienced therapists from around the world for private, 50-minute video sessions, and we are now open to people in the UK.
There is no subscription and no waiting list: you choose a therapist and a time, and pay for each session when you book it.
How much does a session cost in pounds?
Each session is A$59.90, charged in Australian dollars. That is about £29, depending on the exchange rate on the day. Your bank may add a small foreign transaction fee.
Who are the therapists, and what qualifications do they hold?
Our therapists are experienced professionals based outside the UK. All hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Counselling from their home country, some also hold a Master's, and most have at least three years of practical experience.
Before joining InnerHub, each therapist is interviewed and must provide evidence of their identity, qualifications and experience, which we check with the relevant institution or professional body where applicable.
They are not registered with the HCPC and are not presented as UK-registered psychologists. You can review each therapist’s qualifications, experience and country on their profile.
Is InnerHub part of the NHS? Do I need a GP referral?
No to both. InnerHub is a private service, separate from the NHS, and you do not need a referral. NHS Talking Therapies remain available free of charge if you would rather wait for those.
Will the session times work in the UK?
Every time is shown in your own local time, so what you pick is what you get. Our therapists live in different time zones, so it is worth looking at a few profiles to find the times that suit you.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your session starts, for a full refund. Cancelling less than 24 hours before, or not attending, incurs a cancellation fee.
If your professional has an issue and is not able to attend, you're entitled to a full refund or to rebook an equivalent session at no extra cost. Read the full cancellation policy
Is InnerHub a crisis service?
No. If you are in immediate danger, call 999. You can talk to Samaritans any time on 116 123, or call NHS 111 for urgent mental health help. See all UK support lines
