InnerHub was built after watching the cost of a session keep people from booking one. In half a minute, we answer the two questions everyone asks: how is $59.90 possible, and what does the price not include?
How is $59.90 possible?
Where the money does not go
- No Australian clinic overhead. No consulting rooms, no reception desk, no CBD lease built into your session price.
- No subscription model. Subscriptions charge you every week whether you book or not, and that padding is built into their price. We charge per session, so there is nothing to pad.
- No middle layers. One platform, built and run by a small team: booking, video and payment in one place.
And the biggest factor: our practitioners live and work overseas, in countries where the cost of living is a fraction of Australia's. A rate that would not cover rent in an Australian capital city is a proper professional income where they live. That is not a loophole, it is geography, and it is the same reason your accountant, your designer or your doctor's telehealth service may already work this way.
The full picture
What $59.90 does and does not include
A fair breakdown cuts both ways. There is no Medicare rebate, because InnerHub sits outside the Medicare system: $59.90 is the whole price, but it is not claimable. Our practitioners are not AHPRA-registered, which we explain properly on Our Standards: you are choosing an experienced overseas professional, stated plainly, over a registered Australian one at three to four times the price. And sessions are video only: if in-person therapy is what you need, we are not it.
For a lot of people, that is exactly the right fit: the alternative to a $59.90 session was never a $200+ session, it was no session at all. InnerHub is designed for people who want professional support but cannot sustain the cost of traditional private sessions.

Is $59.90 really the whole price?
Yes. $59.90 is the full price of a session, in Australian dollars, every time. There is no joining fee, no subscription running in the background, and no gap to claim back afterwards. You pay for the sessions you book and nothing else.
Do I need a referral or a Mental Health Treatment Plan?
No. You do not need a GP referral, a care plan, or any paperwork. InnerHub sits outside the Medicare system: there is no rebate to claim because the full price is already less than most gap fees.
Why is it so much cheaper than seeing someone locally?
Our practitioners are experienced professionals who live and work outside Australia, where the cost of living is different, and our platform runs without clinic rooms or admin overhead. The full cost structure, both columns, is in the honest breakdown further up this page.
What about cancellations and refunds?
The full cancellation terms are published in plain language in our Terms of Service and shown to you before you pay. No surprise penalty fees buried in fine print.
When am I actually charged?
When you book a session, for that session, through our secure payment provider. Nothing is stored as a subscription and nothing renews. If you never book again, you are never charged again: no awkward "why am I still paying for this?" moment.
Is there a minimum number of sessions?
No. Book one session and see how it feels. Most people who continue settle into a weekly or fortnightly rhythm, but that is a choice you make session by session, not a commitment you sign up front.
Can I claim it on private health insurance?
InnerHub does not process private health claims, and sessions do not attract a Medicare rebate. $59.90 is the whole price, with nothing to claim back and nothing owing.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely by Stripe inside the platform. Your card details are never stored on InnerHub's own servers.
