Who you will be talking to

Our practitioners outside Australia: an overview

Every practitioner on InnerHub is a trained professional with a university degree in psychology or counselling, and many hold a masters or postgraduate qualification on top of that. In countries like Brazil, that first degree is typically five years of full-time clinical study before you are eligible to practise at all. Alongside the formal training, they bring years of real experience supporting people through exactly the things our clients come to us with. We review practitioners' core qualifications, professional memberships and insurance as part of our onboarding before they see a client. Every profile states:

  • The degree, the institution, and the country it was earned in
  • Years of experience and the languages they work in
  • Matched to what you want to work on, and free to change if the fit is not right

Practitioners are not registered in Australia (AHPRA): they are trained and qualified in their own countries instead, and they do not use Australian protected titles.

InnerHub is not a clinical service: our practitioners do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication.

The full trust framework, in plain language: read our standards.

What the titles mean

Every practitioner on InnerHub is a trained professional with a university degree in psychology or counselling, and each appears under the plain title of therapist, with the actual credentials written out underneath: degree, institution, country, years of practice and languages, so you can weigh the substance yourself.

Practitioners are not registered in Australia (AHPRA): they are trained and qualified in their own countries instead, and they do not use Australian protected titles. The full explanation is on Our Standards.
